Flowers On Fourteenth

Decent flowers at a great price. Ordered a florists choice bouquet for delivery a couple days in advance. When I called the shop the day before to discuss the delivery, someone answered right away and was very helpful. They delivered my fiance a nice bouquet right on schedule. From reading the other reviews it sounds like theyve had issues in the past, but my experience was very good!

Absolutely dreadful bouquet of flowers that made my mother cry in sadness on her birthday! The staff was inattentive to phone calls/neglected to answer emails. Our order came 2 hours behind schedule. The stems were droopy and flower petals were warm, browning and dry. This was $70 wasted and I wont be ordering from here again.

Extremely disappointed in the professionalism of this florist! I am a florist in Missouri, I sent them a simple order for a dozen red roses to deliver on Valentine's Day. The order was sent to them electronically on Feb 9th, plenty of time. On the morning of Feb 15th, my customer contacted me telling the flowers never arrived. When we called the shop, we explained the situation & was told they would call us because no owner or manager was available. We would not hung up or wait for an answer and magically less then 4 minutes of telling them I wasn't hanging up until I had something to tell my customer who was still standing there, a manager got on the phone. They blamed it on the computer "switching the address" and that they had been delivered to 2nd street instead of 11th st. But they would make it right & redeliver right away & let me know when it was delivered. (Now this conversation took place at 10am). Finally at 4:30 I called them back because I had not heard from them, I had to leave a voicemail. I did get a call back from "the owner", said they were delivered 20 minutes ago, but they computer change the address for a second time, but they caught it that time. I don't believe it for 1 second, because when I ask what floral software they used, it was the same I used in my shop... for 20 years and actually was a BETA test shop for, that doesn't just happen. There was no apology or even acted like they were sorry for it. So I have a disappointed customer, who I refunded the money too, but THIS FLORIST got paid & couldn't even over a lousy sorry! Do business elsewhere in the DC area!
