Truly a great hotel, however the breakfast they told was complimentary was actually $23 per person and the food was poorly made. Unfortunate, but the rooms, service, and placement are great!!

I had one of the most dangerous and traumatic experiences of my life last night. Im travelling alone and booked into the Sonesta. I thought I heard some screaming in the hallway so I told housekeeping what I heard and went about my business. A few hours later while waiting for elevator I heard a blood curdling scream HELLLLLLP ME. My instincts took over and I found the room and smashed on the door. Inside there was blood and a naked and injured person stumbled out as I continued yelling whats going on in here. I then started banging on random doors because I needed help. A lovely couple got some of their clothes for the naked woman and her partner called security. Security just didnt come and things were escalating. The helping woman had to run down 10 flights of stairs with no shoes because it was an emergency situation. When security finally did arrive he blamed it all on the white liquor and said thats what you get. I went back to my room and broke down. This morning I went to talk to hotel management to suggest they increase their security presence and go over safety procedures and protocols. Instead the manager on duty Dannyboy berated me for knocking on their door and said me being upset is what I get for getting involved where I dont belong. Remember I had already alerted housekeeping hours earlier. In the hours after I told housekeeping but nothing was looked into, that poor woman was being hurt. The victim blaming and lack of protection is sickening. Someone could have died in that room had I not been in the hallway at that exact moment. Do better and protect your guests safety. I had one of the most dangerous and traumatic experiences of my life last night. More

Thanks to the designers for decorating the rooms. Be prepared to pay an extra $50 for parking. The room is big, clean. There is no coffee or tea for this you need to order by phone or go downstairs. My phone didn't work, I couldn't order my car in advance
