When we started our search for a new furry family member, it was a little bittersweet. We had lost our German Shepherd several months prior to an illness and had a huge void in our hearts. Not everyone that we came across on this journey was all that honest. We drove hours south to meet a puppy that we saw online. Communication with the breeder was sub par , but nonetheless we were excited to meet this little pup. Not until we got to the meeting spot, did they tell us that we had to wire the deposit before even seeing the puppy. Our kids were devastated and all the time driving down there and thinking of puppy names was for nothing. These people were not even real- it was an automated scam. Later, I came across Von Parks on FB. I saw that they had a new litter of GS puppies and I messaged right away. Immediately Kimberly replied. She was informative, kind, patient, responsive, knowledgeable, and upfront. She sent us information about herself, details about the puppies that were available and offered to let us meet the puppies in order to make a decision. When we arrived to meet them, you could tell this family loves their German Shepherds. This is clearly a GS family that wants to spread the joy of having one of these little guys or girls with other GS lovers. We are so grateful to have found them! We picked out our little guy, gave our deposit, and waited the longest three weeks ever until he was old enough to leave his mama. We were given updates and pictures during that waiting period. When the day came to go pick him up, Kimberly was communicative and accommodating with the time. He was bathed when we arrived, and we were gifted with sentimental items that may make him comfortable the first few nights as he adjusted to his new home. We were given clear instructions on the next steps ( next immunizations, feeding schedule, papers, etc). We left that day with a little less of a void in our hearts, and as I write this 2.5 months later, I cant believe what a blessing this family is to share these amazing puppies with others. We now have a 4.5 month old handsome, goofy, playful, protective, smart, kid loving, chew toy loving, huge cuddle bug in our lives. Our hearts are full again Thank you Von Parks!
