Still waiting for over a year for this person Emilio Lopez (owner) to present a permit and fees that he charged $1500 for. He claims he submitted paperwork to the city which he has never showed any documentation for. As expected he doesn’t return calls or answer his phone. So typical for South Florida . Very unprofessional and a blatant scam. If I could give half a star I would. Be careful when doing business with the person/company.

Call from Mr. Lopez a few minutes ago, pressuring us to change review.  We will not change the truth.Update - Contract signed January 10, 2019, permit received in May 2019, after having been rejected once and had to be resubmitted.  Closed in December 2019, still with issues.  We brought these to the attention of the inspector but he told us that we have to work it out with the contractor.  That accounts for the time until July 9, 2020.

Warning!!! Do not hire this contractor. He may come across as a nice guy, but dont be fooled like us. My overall experience with using his services has been unprofessional with very poor communication. He did not complete the kitchen remolding project that we hired him to do. We had to fire him off the project. The majority of the appliances he installed, were installed incorrectly and we had to pay for them to be installed correctly by another company. We have to pay another company at this point to complete the job. We call and text him for schedules, timelines, updated invoices, and etc. and he doesnt respond or communicate back in a timely manner at all. You have to wait weeks to hear from him. He constantly makes excuses why pending items arent completed. He has no attention to detail and blames vendors that HE contracts when mistakes are made because he is not overseeing the project properly. I would not recommend his services at all. Please think two and three times before hiring him. Dont make the same mistake we did.

EEL Renovations to the rescue!!! Please see my post on Jersey Contracting LLC (what a nightmare!) After I fired Steve Luger, Jersey Contracting LLC (Boca Raton, Deerfield Beach and Broward County Area) I hired EEL RENOVATIONS. Emilio, the owner, is a honest, hardworking, dependable and talented contractor. There was NOTHING he could not do! The demoed, installed cabinets, did electrical and plumbing, plastered, painted and tiled. They did it all! The EEL team was able to renovate my condo in a month and on budget. The outcome is just beautiful. EEL showed up to work everyday, produced quality work and cleaned up before days end. They were never daunted by the mess and mistakes the first contractor left! I could not be happier with the outcome! EEL was able to transform an old condo built in 1977 (that had never been updated) and turn into a beachy chic condo that will be a great vacation home. I would definitely hire Emilio again. He is a true professional.
