Mandarin Rental Center

I own Jax Outdoor Kitchens and have been renting from Mandarin Rental Center for over 23 years. They have always been my go to place to rent tools for my jobs. They work with you in every way. They understand the needs of both a business owner and a regular home owner. They are getting better every year. I noticed that they are expanding and can serve us even better in the future. Bad business. What you see here is a very unhappy customer. Approximately 2 weeks ago I called up and reserved the Haulotte 45XA self propelled man lift. At that time I called and spoke to the lady at the San Jose store. During our conversation I was quite clear about what I needed and was given a window in which to rent the machine all the way up to the 1st of November. We settled on a date of October 29th for pick up. About 48 hours before I was to pick up the machine I called to confirm the machine's availability and trailer hitch requirement. I was told the machine could be picked up on time as agreed. Less than 24 hours before I was to pick up the machine I received a phone call by a lady stating the machine was no longer available because the person who rented it has extended their rental by 1 week. During that conversation the lady asked me if I could use the 35 foot tow behind machine. If I was able to use the tow behind that would have been the machine I asked for. This has completely ruined my job as I needed the self propelled as ordered. My only conclusion is they rented the machine out from under me. I have rented from this business in the past and there is absolutely no excuse for this. I won't be returning.

Had a problem with cement mixer that I rented and David,the manager took care of it ,when I returned that afternoon. Thank you for standing behind your business and making things right...
