SpringHill Suites by Marriott Jacksonville Baymeadows

I have stayed at the spring hill suites before in other cities. This one by far was the worst. The customer service was good but the room was horrible. The wash cloths and towels were dirty. When we called to get more they said we would have to come down and get them. Also there was a cookie on the floor in the corner. You have to request to have your room cleaned by 7 pm the day before you need it cleaned. The pillow case on the other bed was dirty. The walls are super thin and my room door looked as if someone at some point and time tried to break in. I will not be staying there ever again.

This place is awesome! Used to stay in downtown for all of my work travel and it was a nightmare getting around. This place is perfectly located with tons of things to do around it. Staff is amazing and always friendly.

For the most part, this was a good stay. We did a quick overnight trip. Rooms were clean and spacious enough for my family of 4. Breakfast wasnt great but its complimentary so can't complain too much. Parking is also free. My biggest complaint, My husband and I had a night out and when we came back our room key did not work so we got a new one from the front desk and it still didnt work. The man at the front desk told us the actual door must be broke because it was flashing red and green and because of the time there is no maintenance. I asked could he put us in another room until maintenance can come in the morning and he said he couldnt because we couldnt have 2 rooms open at the same time and would have to have all of my stuff out the other room before they could issue me another. My stuff and kids was in the room sleep. It was 2 am. I had to keep calling them back to back until one of them finally answered and opened the door. My question is, what if the kids never answered? Would the hotel just left us stranded? Very poor customer service in that aspect, but other than that, the stay was ok.

Such a positive experience at this hotel! The service was amazing, Cherokee and Ladel at the front desk were so beyond kind and accommodating! The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was as you could imagine. One thing I would note, is the pool did seem a bit different than the pictures. Its in a smaller area toward the back, but was too cold to go in so didnt pay too much mind to it. Overall, we would stay again! Experience no issues like the other reviews, you have to come and experience it yourself! 10/10!
