We have been eating here, on and off, for years (we moved away so we rarely eat here now). The other day we stopped in and ate our "old standards." Their hamburger has always been a great Diner-style burger (good size, nice and thick, very good flavor [even b4 I put any condiments on it]) and their Chef's salad is oversized with the majority of the food being the different meats and cheeses, sitting on a fresh salad. The food came out quickly, our waitress was attentive, and we were very happy to be greeted by the owner when we sat down. Oh, and to compare prices to other Diners, Jimmy's prices are very reasonable.

The food is ok. We stopped in a few times because it was convenient. However, some of the prices are outrageous. The grits I ordered would not be recommended. How do you slap two slices of prepackaged orange cheese? Not even shredded? AND have the audacity to charge you? Yes, you are located in Miami, but the location is not South Beach or even Wynnwood.
Kid-friendliness: The wait staff was kind to our party which included my grandson.
