OKAMI - Miami Design District

Fantastic ambience with a first class service. This was the second time we ended up at this place and both time I give them 5- Star rating. If you're in a mood for nice and quite dinner coupled with great food and even better drinks this is the place to go to.

Came here for an event. The place was nice but maybe they were short staff to handle the needs.   Drinks were ok, granted it was a limited menu to pick from.  Will consider going  again to dine and check out the full menu options.

First off the temp of the interior was ice cold. its was physically difficult to sit inside the place. The place was near empty and the service was still horrible. the 3 people literally walked around like zombies in the place. No hostess was working, the bar tender was just hanging out looking at us when we walked in. i think it was due to the fact that we are not spanish and the other tables ( 2) only spoke spanish and they got some service. There is no menu, you have to scan another app if your luck enough to get connected to their wifi as there is no service in the building for basic cell connection. When you finally figure out how to order the menu appears in all black on your phone. Its extremely difficult to read. The entire design experience of this place is the poorest i have experienced as a global traveler. I live in Miami and can tell you the food in Miami as basically just ok anyways. We ended up leaving and not even eating due to the crazy poor experience and zombie like servers. One of them smelled like weed which would explain the service. Another place that spent to much money on the interior and no money on training on how to run a place.
