The rooms were clean, within easy distance loan depot baseball stadium. Also easy access to the interstate. The breakfast eggs and sausage were cold. Got charged a bogus 17 fee for amenities plus taxes. When I asked the person working about it, they said the standard Walkability: You can walk to several things within 15 to 20 minutes

Neither good nor bad, a little far from Bayside but practical if you take the 7d transport card (- 5min walk). Hot or cold breakfast. The rooms are the weak point, very dark and to make your sofa bed you will have to make do with 3 small sheets.

We are platinum members with the Marriott system and this hotel truly did not qualify as a Marriott standard hotel. We stayed for 2 nights because of the easy access to the hospital since my husband was going through a medical procedure. Not many choices in the area. We had stayed before but it was more of a vacation where we were hardly in the rooms or using the provided services. After driving 6 straight hours, all we wanted was to get to the room and rest. First of all, we had to change rooms twice. The assigned room had an intense animal odor. We called the front desk to no avail. No one would pick up, so I headed downstairs to change the room. The second room had no TV remote control and the main door safety lock was having issues. Again, I found myself having to go downstairs to speak with the front desk, since we were left on hold n the phone eternally. The last room was a bit better. It felt like we were living the story of Goldilocks. We were promised compensation but never were awarded it. The issues continued. Next morning, we were able to catch the hotel shuttle service to the hospital. Luckily, we got a seat while another customer sat on something like a milk crate in the back where the disbaled elevator was located. There were a lot of people using the complimentary hospital shuttle in the morning but not an appropriate vehicle to accommodate. Safety apparently wasn't a priority for the hotel nor the driver. Requesting the return service was even worse. We called several times to ask about the return service to hotel and were put on hold every single time. So time was ticking away and we saw no shuttle. After about 40 minutes of waiting, we decided to just walk it. Thankfully, it was a beautiful day and my husband's anethesia was wearing away. He was able to walk after his procedure and we headed back to the hotel. Along the way, we saw a few restaurants (cafeterias) around the vicinity of the hospital that seemed good to eat, and had been told by the front desk that there was nothing close by. Misinformation. Not a good experience overall. We were ready to leave as soon as we could, the next morning. One of the worst experiences overall in the Marriott chain.

Dear Mr. Mayo,Thank you for choosing our hotel and sharing your experience. Your feedback is essential to us. We are delighted to know you were pleased with our ideal location and refreshing accommodations. However, we apologize for the concern you had with the breakfast we offer. We will discuss your comments with our food and beverage team so that such matters do not happen again. We also regret your disappointment with our destination fee. We implemented our destination fee after overwhelming requests from our guests to bundle our resort-style amenities. To make it a significant value, we must pass this cost to all guests, and we encourage you to take advantage of these amenities. We appreciate your patience and hope you will stay with us again soon.David Herrera, Assistant General Manager
