No one should ever work with this brokerage. I have a family member who is currently being held out $18,000 that this broker refuses to pay out. He is holding the commission hostage and after attorneys spoke, he admitted he has no case or reason to hold these commissions yet he still refuses to pay cause he knows litigation will cost about the same amount. I do not recommend this broker to anyone, he steals money and is very unethical.

As an agent, I had an awful experience With a Florida Capital Realty agent. ZERO response to a deal we were working on. He was the buyers agent. Would not text, call or email me back. I was trying to finish up a contract and needed his buyers initials and it took 3 days to reach him and he said it was because he was on vacation. Then, when his buyer didnt pay escrow on time, he took 2 days to email me saying Its in the mail which, of course it wasnt. He tied up my buyers sale by jerking us around. Will NEVER work with him again and it makes me very leary of the company as well.

If you want to give away or have your money stolen, rent a property to the agent Mariela Merayo. I handed over the property in good condition, perfect condition after a year living in the apartment, everything working, and I even very willingly, left a new ceiling fan in one of the rooms, new handles throughout the kitchen, and a microwave. However, the agent charged me 2,200 dollars, because according to her, the tenant is responsible for paying for the painting of the house, she stated that I had left many holes in the walls (where I had a couple of pictures, two TVs and a clock) and a light cover was broken, for all that as per "the agent" I was responsible to pay $2200 . Despites we covered some of the holes in the wall, "the agent" stated we did not sand, that we had to deliver the apartment in "the same conditions in which we received it the first day". "The Agent" said that it is up to the tenant to "pay for the repair of the apartment because we only lived there for one year". It does not say that anywhere in the contract, and it is not legal either. Total arbitrary. Disrespect and Scammers. I feel completely mocked and violated. This is arbitrary and you don't even have the consolation of being able to claim and appeal such decision. I live in someone else's house, I pay my rent punctually for a year, and I am also responsible for renovating the apartment so that they can rent it to someone else? is incredible. I have been robbed, but I believe in divine justice. So yes, if you want an awesome experience, rent a property to this people, specially with Mariela Merayo. Don't forget to repair and paint the entire home before you leave.
