The Wayland by Common

We had planned to stay at Wayland Apartments for a week in April 2024. After settling into our room on the first day, we went to the city center for dinner. When we returned, we found that our electronic door could not be opened because it was 'out of battery'. There is no authorized employee in the building after 5 pm. The customer representative we spoke to on the phone told us to spend the night in another hotel or sleep in the hotel lobby. No hotel would accept us because our IDs and belongings were locked in the room. To make matters worse, because my heart medications were left in the room, I fell ill and was taken to the hospital. It was a nightmarish night. When we arrived back at Wayland in the morning, we were greeted by the hotel manager, Ms. Jennie welcomed. It showed that the door was working. We showed her the videos we took as evidence. SHe just smiled and said, "The door is working now, I don't know what happened last night." Wayland management repaired the door in the morning and then called us to get our belongings, implying that we were lying. As a lawyer, we will file a lawsuit for what happened, but I would like to tell those who want to stay here that if your child or pet is locked in the room at night, you should pray that they do not die of hunger or thirst until the morning. You are alone in all the problems that may arise after 5 pm. Having affordable prices is not worth risking your life for.

Solid Air BNB. Fell bad for the actual residents but if you need a cool place to stay if you're in downtown St Pete for the weekend this is a great price meets quality ratio.

Lived here for a year, lease ended 2 months ago. Pros your downtown, pool and residents are nice, made some friends. Leasing staff are friendly. Hammocks, gym Cons: they upcharge your rent around $300 a month. NO balcony. All the other complexes in the area they have 24-hour pools they will have you out at dawn here, can't be outside after 10... Water frequently goes off every week. Roaches depending on your neighbors.

Do not move here they are contracted with skyway towing company they are notorious for towing visitors cars and have outrageous towing fees they are thieves they sit outside the complex and wait for you to literally be parked across a line they will tow your car and the White security that sits in the front will not even warn you. This is how towing company make there money bc the company are drug addicts and trash
