Doug has been a pleasure to work with. His approach from our first discovery call to locking in the rate was a great experience. I could tell right away that Doug takes a lot of pride in his job and is passionate about helping buyers secure a mortgage. His ability to build trust and rapport made me feel at ease right away. Home buying is a stressful time and having a calm, experienced, and educated lender was very important. One thing that stood out to me that I really appreciated was knowing that he personally invests in live market information and detailed reports that provide timely insights that he discusses with his clients. As someone in the financial services industry I really enjoyed talking markets with him and making an informed decision as a team on when to and when not to make decisions. I am writing this in March 2024 and rates have been all over, having Doug with me helped alleviate some of that stress.

Doug and Devin have just helped me buy my first home and I would recommend them to anyone. They helped me get a first time homebuyer program to help with the down payment and were very knowledgeable about all the questions I had going through this process and were available whenever I needed them! I will definitely be in touch with them when I am ready to refinance!

I was introduced to Doug and his team at CrossCountry Mortgage in November 2023 thru a realtor as I was looking I purchase a property. Although the original purchase I intended did not happen, I did use their services for a refinance on a rental property. Doug and his team (Traci and Devon) were an absolute delight to work with. They walked me through every step of the process, provided guidance and support. They kept me informed and assisted me thru various issues that came up with the title. I never wondered what was happening, they communicated regularly. Their portal for uploading sensitive/personal information was easy to navigate and allowed me to see where we were in the process not that I looked for status there since Traci called me well ahead of time to update me. If you are looking for someone to help you with your mortgage or refinance needs, call them, you will not regret it. I am already lined up and approved for the home purchase, all I need is the property.
