My son was attending BSS lessons for a while at South Miami location. However, at some point the pool was closed and we were transfered to Kendall as a temporary location. Before Spring Break, we discussed with the teachers that our son was going to miss a couple of lessons because we were leaving the country on a trip, and they offered to do 1 hour lessons for a couple of weeks after the Spring Break to make up those lessons. However, today (April 2nd) I got a call saying they were closing that location, and the alternatives they offered are at locations too far away from my house or at days/hours that does not work with us. I requested to have the April tuition refunded (they agreed on that part) and also the March partial refund for the 2 lessons we missed and that we cannot make up because they close both locations that are convenient for us and they do not give us a day/time that work for us. It is clear to me they only care about your money... First of all, if they were planning to close the location on April 1st, why did they charge on March 27th the April tuition? Why the did not communicate on time so we had drop our enrollment before the Spring Break? Honestly, I would avoid this company at all means. --------------- In response to the BSS Owner, Nicole Pierce, 1) First of all, what you claim is FALSE (you are lying once again). You give me the option to either get the refund for April lessons and give away the make-up classes, or leave the April tuition as a credit in my account and get a 6-months extension for the make-up classes. The option of getting the refund for April tuition and keep the make up classes pending for 6-months is an option you never mention. Below the literal transcript of your response by email: "Hello, We will be not issuing a refund for the two make up classes you have pending, we can offer you to extend these for 6 months and give you a credit for the charge in the month of April. Otherwise, we can give you a refund for the month of April but the make up lessons will not be available to schedule any longer. Please, let us know which works best for you. Thank you!" Still the 6-month extension I am not sure if it is acceptable or not, as you do not commit to resume the lessons at South Miami at any time. You have been telling us for months it would open in 2 more weeks, and never happened. 2) I insist you are not acting in good faith. Makes no sense you take the decision of dropping Friday's lessons from April 1st and communicate April 2nd. On March 15th we agreed with the instructors at Kendall location we were not attending March 22nd and March 29th and doing the makeups on April 5th and April 12th. If you were an HONEST company, which clearly you are not, you would have notified of your intention at least 1 month in advance (some notice period you ask me if I decide to drop my enrollment), so I could have drop the enrollment by March 15th and we would not be facing this situation. 3) As of today, I have not received any refund from your side.
