Brown's Mill Golf Course

A very surprising golf course. My first time playing here.Fairways are starting to come in and the greens rolled very well. Driving range was closed on a Friday afternoon. I played the white tees which was plenty of golf for me. Look forward to going back soon. Price was great as well. 29 bucks on GolfNow.

This place could be awesome if they just had a starter. They let their buddies tee off any tee and it becomes a disaster for pace of play.

Browns Mill is a fun course to play. Lots of cool holes for a muni. As long as you recognize youre playing a municipal golf course, youll really enjoy the round. Fast firm greens, even in March. A few hills, for sure, but there were a lot of walkers out there, so the walk cant be that hard. The bunkers are very well kept and have soft, powdery sand in them. Very sandy course overall. The only things that need work are the tee boxes, but that should be very low on any todo list as you get to use a tee. Browns Mill is less than 15 minutes from the airport, so its easy to get to and play either right before you fly, or right after you arrive. Plus you get to watch the planes coming in, silently, just above the tree tops. Ill certainly play here again the next time Im in Atlanta.
