do not believe what this hotels staff tells you over the phone because they will not honor it. my significant other drove hours from alabama to this location because he was told multiple times over the phone that he could check-in early with no problem. when he arrived he was told that he could not check in early because a manager was not there to approve the early check-in. he attempted to pay an early check in fee but was denied the opportunity to do so by Tiara Ramsey (not sure if I spelled it correctly). This woman was RUDE and escalated the situation to something it did not have to be. Myself and my boyfriend were on facetime. i heard when he asked her to check the schedule very calmly and nicely so that he would know who could have been working when he spoke to the front desk over the phone. she told him it was against hotel policy and began to speak over him and accuse him of being rude (lets be real, theres no policy that says one worker cant tell a guest who they might have spoken to over the phone during an earlier shift). she stated she was speaking sternly and not aggressively. but i witnessed the altercation and she was very unprofessional and unpleasant, and obviously irritated. she took her frustration out on my s/o, prolonged the situation, and was honestly not hospitable at all. all my boyfriend wanted was the name of the person he spoke with originally. he wanted to wait to check in when a manager arrived and report the person who he spoke with for not doing their job properly and giving him misinformation. My boyfriend is a Marriott employee and he was not rude to tiara at all. she was just irritated because she had to answer all of his questions (do her JOB) and it was taking longer than she would have liked. do not stay at this location if you want a pleasant front staff experience.

Was able to check in early, and the front desk lady was super sweet and helpful!!! I wish I got her name so she could get recognition!!! Rooms: The room was huge, and the beds were super comfy. I loved how the curtains have both a see-through curtain and a light blocking curtain. The bathroom was gorgeous. The shower had the shampoo, conditioner, and body soap smelled great and were connected to the side of the shower. The water pressure was perfect, and the shower had 2 little silver shelves for personal items. Nearby activities: Is close to a lot of stores and restaurants. Food & drinks: The lobby always had coffee, decaff coffee, and hot water for teas and hot chocolate. They also had fresh baked cookies in the afternoon. And there were so many food options for breakfast as well as different juices. Noteworthy details: Staff is super friendly. I would recommend this hotel for Masters week.

Like a bed & breakfast, Michael greets you by name the second you enter the lobby! Gigi's breakfasts are fresh & yummy. One morning we were running late as she was already putting the empty buffet pans away. She asked what we liked, promptly went to the kitchen & returned with a couple of fresh hot sandwiches just for us! She smiled, told us God Bless & Safe travels, so sweet!
