Hyatt House Augusta / Downtown

Amazing service here at this Hyatt. Jamie, Bobby and the front office team are super friendly, kind and go out of their way to make your experience extra special. My mom and I truly enjoyed our experience thanks to them. Breakfast is included. Gym is quiet and clean. Rooms and beds are clean and comfy. Beautiful rooftop bar with the view of downtown Augusta - hidden gem spot. Bobby is their driver who will take you to the Masters each day. He has great energy and very knowledgeable about local spots to check out. Highly recommend this Hyatt for your Augusta experience. We will be back for sure! Thank you

Rooms were clean, and the host and bartender were nice. Breakfast was the bomb . Right in downtown, we spent about $400 for the weekend there.

Disappointing Stay at Hyatt House Augusta: Great Location, But Missed the Mark Otherwise This review is based on my stay at Hyatt House Augusta between February 16th and 18th, 2024. Overall, it was a bit of a letdown, and I would rate it 2.5 stars. Location: The hotel's location is fantastic, deserving 4 stars. Right on the downtown strip, it's close to the riverwalk and restaurants. However, the boarded-up storefronts nearby were a bit concerning. Customer Service: The front desk staff wasn't rude, but definitely disappointing. The room I booked wasn't what I received, and while the explanation was unconvincing, worse yet was the claim that all rooms had tiny, high windows (later proven untrue). Room: The room itself was just okay, but not up to Hyatt House standards. There were cleanliness issues (dirty carpets, stained cups), and the bathroom leaked during showers. The tiny windows made it feel cramped and uninviting. Hotel Cleanliness: The overall cleanliness was average. A leaky elevator with mops left unattended was a red flag. Amenities: I didn't explore the hotel much, but my experience with the rooftop bar wasn't great. The bartender was inattentive, and the outdoor seating area was dirty and unpleasant. Beware, even the K-Cup coffee downstairs isn't free, it'll cost you $4. Parking: While I don't remember the exact amount charged, I know if it was $30+ per night. Would I Recommend This Hotel? While the location is excellent, other aspects fell short of expectations. There are likely better options available, so I would probably look elsewhere next time. Walkability: It's very walkable and close to restaurants and bars.
