Horrible service. Replaced a transmission and after leaving the dealership I had parts loose on my car and flapping. How did they fix it.... with double sided tape.

The salesman my daughter and I dealt with upon arrival didn't listen to what we said AT ALL. He was intent on doing things his way, continuously went to the manager with questions/approvals/whatever, and talked down to my daughter. He overlooked her completely acting like I was in charge even though she was the one purchasing. He mansplained the financials to her, assuming because of her age, and looked dumbfounded when she told him that she works in the member service department at a bank. We came in with a set number of vehicles that we were interested in, already had a pre-approved loan amount, and asked for an appraisal on her current vehicle. While getting the appraisal he informed us that the vehicles in question were not on the lot and may not be in the state, even though they were on their website. (Had that knowledge been shared previously, we would not have needed the appraisal as she was not interested in anything else that they had.) After hearing that, we decided then to leave the dealership and asked for her keys. He said he would go get them and sent her out on the lot insisting that she look at vehicles that were out of her price bracket - which she stated before being sent to look while he retrieved the keys. After taking a look around and telling him again that, no, we would not be purchasing anything from them and that we needed her keys back from the appraisal, it took another 30 minutes before he could produce her key. When he gave us the key, he told her that she could still not leave because the manager was coming over to speak with her. We reiterated that we had a schedule to keep and that we were running out of time to visit another dealership as this one was not able to help her. Only after insisting that we were leaving, did he finally seem to back off. The manager never did come over. We were at the dealership overall for about an hour. Considering she found out in the first 10-15 minutes that the cars were not on the lot, and that we asked for her key back at that point, the other 45 minutes is just plain ridiculous.

I am always pleased with the service from MB of Augusta; I drive 163 miles from home because of the outstanding service and care of my vehicle. As noted above, in the past I have been pleased with the service at this dealership and thought that customer loyalty and brand loyalty was a marker of growth, profitability and customer satisfaction. I am operating in the dark ages. I purchased 4 Michelin tires from the dealership in January and within 2 weeks, I was back because of the instability of the tires. I had contacted Michelin who informed me that I had to go back to the dealership to activate the plan and that they would replace the Michelin tires with 4 tires of my choice. There's a lot of documentation and even a call to the dealership from Michelin to have them honor their Promise Plan. I talked with Mr. Hassan, who told me that they would take care of the matter. The service manager, Tyrone Price has refused to work with me and Michelin, which leads me to believe that their are some business practices that need to be looked at closely at this dealership. In reading the reviews, there are others who have been blown off by this manager. I now have an appointment with an attorney who will advise me on the potential risk to my life because of the instability of the car and failure of management to act.
