How can you work there and not know what goes into the food. I ordered a cheesesteak melt hash brown bowl and only received hash browns and chopped up steak. Wheres the cheese and onions!!!!! 2nd time this week my order was missing something

Waffle House is our go to place for breakfast whenever we travel the southern corridor. This trip it was this location that impressed us. We were reluctant to stop because it was Sunday mid-morning and there were lots of vehicles outside, but as we drove into the parking lot, three were just leaving. While the place was crowded, we were able to be seated at the end of the counter with a view of the "cooking operations." As an efficiency nut (Waffle House is one of the most efficient operations out there!), I was delighted to watch this crew work. In most Waffle Houses wait staff call out the order to the cook. At this place, because there were so many waiters, they used a "caller." Wait staff placed their order slips in sequence in front of the caller. One by one, he'd call the order to the cook--clear, loudly, and concisely--and set up the plates (with "code" arrangement of condiments, WH's unique language). It worked like a manufacturing production line! After our waitress (Mary) took our order, she make sure the caller knew my order of "over light" eggs was to my specifications ("runny yellow, very soft white, no brown!"). And the cook got it perfect! And the waffle was done to perfection as well. Light, fluffy, hot, tasty. This Waffle House location is on my list of "must stop" establishments the next time I'm out that way. Great job, Team and Management!

Every time I order crispy hashbrowns they burn my hashbrowns all the way up, cooking them completely through well done. Crispy don't mean cook every strand of hashbrown well done, just a nice golden crisp evenly throughout without burning it up. Like what is this! So annoying. Definitely getting a remake! I knew I should've just had breakfast from sprint! Then they like to argue and say "it's well done", it's OVER DONE. ITS BURNT! LOOK AT IT & stop playing in customers face. NO ONE is ordering crispy hashbrowns and expecting the cook to produce this. I wouldn't dare serve this then had the nerve to add the cheese on top. I didn't ask for shredded potato chips with cheese. Just poor service in performance just coming back up here for it to be remade. Common sense ain't common because you believe these hashbrowns to be crispy and NOT burnt, you're crazy. Now the remake soggy. They clearly don't know how to cook because why not flip the hashbrowns so they can golden crisp on the opposite side. Again COMMON SENSE AINT COMMON!
