Lakeside on Riverwatch

I signed my lease back in may with a move in date of July 21. I had been calling and stopping by several times to view a 3 bd room to know what space I was working with before moving in. There was never a unit available to view. I called several times was not able to get in contact with anyone over the phone. I was at least expecting a phone call by middle of July and some type of updates on the apartment . Once I finally got through and spoke with someone I was told they would allow me to view at least 48 hrs before. Still did not receive a call. I had to call the day before to see what I needed to do then it was said I can come view the apartment the day before I got my keys. To the naked eye the apartment looked ok outside some minor fixes. Once I got my keys and went through the apartment I was shocked as to what I found. I will attach pics and video below. I dropped the maintenance request off Monday July 24. Its is July 31 and my apartment has yet to be cleaned. I asked for a new washer dryer, new tub faucets and shower heads. Along with other major issues. I had to bomb the apartment twice due to roaches. And yet still I have not been able to move into this apartment fully. 02-21/24 Update: although things has been fix finally and work orders have been worked things are little better but still dealing with roaches. Not as bad as there were before but still here. One is too many in my book I have never lived with them and didn't ever plan on it either before this experience. I have found one crawling on my bed while watching tv on two different occasions along with my daughter and son. I have had a couple crawl out my purse and lunch bag on my desk at work separate times..embarrassing luckily I caught them before someone saw. I attempted to break my lease couple months ago. I was told please don't just work with them to get remaining issues resolved due to issues with old property management that let things go to waist side. I pay for pest control and they have only been in my place twice. I shouldn't have to request to be put on a list every two weeks if the issue is known. Some broken steps have been replaced. all walkways need to be pressure washed and rails need to be painted over. I pray I have my finances together by time this lease up so I can afford to move. I wish I would have read reviews before moving here. But at the time they were most reasonable for price for 3bd and that would allow pets.

Horrible place to live. Just wait until you see the expenses of moving out! Im just happy Im up out of there. Still trying to resolve an issue of everything Im being charged with when I kept up with the apartment and nobody wants to answer the phone after Ive left numerous messages for them to call me due to me relocating to Charleston, SC.

DO NOT MOVE HEAR! IF YOU HAVE NOWHERE ELSE TO GO, SLEEP OUTSIDE!!!! No matter who manages this place nothing changes. Endless Roaches despite you paying for pest control. I don't know if they are spraying the wrong stuff or just water. Constantly smell marijuanna day and night. Complaints do not help. The current management is just as bad. Stuff breaks in the apartments all the time and they usually do a quick fix and take their time getting to it. This place is not worth the rent you pay at all. They make a few outside adjustments to drive the rent up. They may leave some smooth comments in response to all the complaints on google reviews but it's all bull. I know some of the other residents who left one star reviews and they are right on. Increased rent new fees. I only wish I could give them one less star than I have now and todays Date is 12/4/2023. This new company is even worse. I guess that's why they keep selling it to new robbers. I'm pretty sure most of maintenance and management are some people off the street with little to no education for their job posistion.
