    Rooms were big and spacious and bed was really comfortable. Great service and good breakfast! Nearby activities: You are in the middle of the beach and near by River Street.

    The hotel had a foul smell in the hallways and room itself. There was a college event happening and they were VERY disruptive by slamming door, playing very loud music, and yelling the hallways. One of them started banging on our door, yelling, and jiggling the handle. We were genuinely scared he was gonna get in. We call the front desk 4 times and no one answered. We almost called the cops. When we finally got a hold of the front desk they said that they had had several other people complain. The hot water was not hot but rather just warm. Would NOT recommend. Rooms: The rooms smelled so bad. Safety: We did not feel safe in this hotel.

    I'm a choice employee and I wanna say DONT STAY HERE!!!. I booked a room with my employee rate for myself and my 2 children and when we arrived I was informed that my reservation had been canceled because the manager of the hotel decided that they weren't going to honor any employee rates this week due to the fact that they were charging triple what I was paying. Everywhere else in town was sold out. Even the other guests in line told them they were wrong for doing their company employee that way. Not to mention the rooms are disgusting. The floors were so sticky and there's no water pressure to even wash the nastiness off. Do not stay here!!!

    We have previously stayed at this location multiple times, but we will not be returning. Upon entering the room, we found someone's cell phone sitting on the couch and ash on the floor and entertainment center, and the floors looked as if they had not been mopped in quite a while. We went down to turn the phone into the front desk, the receptionist was on the phone and had someone standing at the desk, so we decided to just leave it and head to Walmart. The room we were given was considered a suite, however the television in the "living area", microwave, and stovetop were all broken. We weren't aware of this until after we had gone and purchased food to cook in our room. We called the front desk and were told that "even if you change rooms, I can't guarantee you won't have the same problem." Annoyed, we decided to stay in the current room and speak with the manager the next morning. I went to speak with the manager, who seemed extremely annoyed with my complaints, but offered to have someone work on the issues, as we needed to stay another night. My husband asked if we would be compensated in any way for the inconvenience the previous night, the managers response was to refund us for the 1 night stay, but refuse to allow us to book another room for the second night, leaving me to have to find another motel for our second night's stay. My husband's card was eventually refunded, but they decided to charge us $25 for "incidentals", even though we reported all issues to the night clerk.
