Safeway

Love this store but it's really sad because they seem to always be out of what I'm looking for or it seems to be a hassle to find someone to assist you.

a friend of mine went in to purchase bags from Safeway a few days ago and as someone who is on a budget, I thought it was a great idea. I went in to purchase bags and was immediately told no. I walked up to a different worker who gave me bags and told me to go to a register because she had no way of cashing me out and I went and stood in line where I was met by the same lady (Mina) who again refused. I went to the customer service desk because I didn't understand why she was being so rude and accusing me of trying to steal (I have never stolen anything in my life). The guy behind the desk (Doug) called a manager because he saw the interaction between me and that other lady. At this point I explain to this guy why I'm trying to purchase the bags and then the guy behind the counter said what I was trying to do was dumb (again not sure why the hostility). The manager (Cole) sold me the bags, but was hesitant and I'm not sure why they all thought i was going to steal, but as soon as I left and got to my car I immediately broke down in tears because I have never in my life had this kind of thing happen. Needless to say I will not be shopping at Safeway again.
