        Ive been a customer of the store for years. I went into the store to check on the warranty on some rechargeable batteries. The salesman that helped me was grumpy about doing so, and was not short on snarky comments.

        Bought a used jeep, drove straight to BP to buy a new battery for it. They even swapped it out for me. Great service! Been buying my batteries here for years.

        Won't you sell me a watch battery? I went in to get a common 395 watch battery. The employee offered me their $20 service to replace it, which includes lifetime replacement. That would be fine, but I explained to him that I have watch repair experience and just need the battery for a watch I am selling, so I don't need the warranty. He then told me that they could not sell me the battery by itself because of "certain federal packaging restrictions." After leaving, I did a quick online search and discovered that my local Ace hardware has the battery in stock. Apparently, the restrictions don't apply to them.
