Very unethical and unprofessional builder. Stay clear if you can and do not trust what they say. We waited 9 months for what we thought was our house being built, just to find out they chose someone else. The builders have no integrity or respect for the buyers. All they care about is money. Also, they do not price their homes until they are completed. You are told an estimated figure at the beginning and by the end it went up $60,000. Our families dreams were shattered and its so sad there are builders like this out there.

Unethical to say the least! If you want treated like you don't matter left in the dark and lied to this is the builder for you. My inlaws sold their home in Virginia and moved here they are 73 and 79 from the start Pioneer was very rude and made it a point to tell them they got no say in design color or anything, supposed to be a model home so handled poorly but ok. They were told late October early November for completion and pricing and they could go under contract 2 weeks before completion. That said everyone involved was assured the price would be under 500,000 dollars. Fast forward 2 and a half months of Me, My Wife and my inlaws calling and begging someone to give us some kind of information we finally have a price of 550,000 well over the stated cost. They have spent 13,000 dollars in air BNB's waiting on this. They have bought a Home from a competitor and could have months ago with a little correct info. Atrocious customer service and a complete lack of respect for anyone other than themselves.

I purchased a new home in 2007 built by Pioneer Homes, and owned the home until 2019. At the recommendation of my realtor, I purchased this home over another built by one of the mass home builders in the Treasure Valley. During my 12 years I never had any issues with the home other than normal wear and tear and was happy with the quality. I repainted the home in 2017; the original paint was worn and dated and I do feel like a higher quality paint could have been used but all of the trim and woodwork on the exterior were still in good condition. I sold the home in 2019 and purchased a home built in 2011 by the other mass home builder. After living in this house for the past year and a half and seeing the corners that were cut and being pretty disappointed in general, Im that much more happy with the quality and value of my house from Pioneer Homes.
