This place is awesome! Only machine shop I go to in town. Been down there a few times now and theyve been nothing but knowledgeable, friendly, and extremely helpful. Got me sorted in a pinch with a camshaft issue for an engine rebuild and I will be forever grateful!

Brought a 4 banger head to be checked and surface. Well seeing his equipment, I think "this guy's got it". I get the head back and he tells me the valves leak. Well sure they need to be lapped in. So I start lapping and then noticed... a Crack. Found 3 cracks from spark plugs holes running under my valve seets...so why would I want to surface a head that's totally "F"? The main thing I wanted was the head checked, their prone to cracks. For reference 2015 chevy cruze 1.4l turbo.

Very courteous, he didn't work on hydraulic pumps but I've heard nothing but good reviews from other people that have done have done business there.

Great quality machine shop, I've been using Karls Machine shop for years and always have had great results with all my machine work. The only place in Pocatello to have engine machine work done. Always treats me fairly and his prices are very reasonable. I plan on continuing business with Mark in the futue. Service: Motor building
