UPDATED REVIEW. I had only eaten here since they opened back up so I don't know how it compared to before, but I thought they were pretty consistent my first three visits. The male manager I've interacted with is professional, funny and pleasant, I think his name is Jordan. The atmosphere is so charming and the food was amazing, it was my favorite pizza anywhere and I used to recommend it to people. Personally however, I don't think I'll be coming back after today. If you hold strong opinions about how employees should behave towards customers, perhaps send someone else to pick up an order for you so the customer service doesn't ruin it for you on one of their 'off days'. My last visit, I went to pick up an order at 7:45, when they close at nine. The older woman who helped me walked away while I was talking to her twice, after she engaged the conversation. I asked if I could upgrade my nachos to a full order and she seemed frustrated by the request very quickly. She pointed out that they had put away most of the ingredients behind the counter already so I apologized for not seeing it and said I'd remember to order bigger nachos next time. She asked me two more times if I wanted another half order, seeming more upset each time which was stressful for me, but she had for some reason just told me that her deceased husband had the same name as me so that might have been part of why she was upset. I honestly would have brushed off the interaction as odd but not awful, despite the way that and the looks another worker gave me made me feel an annoying inconvenience, but after I paid, the older woman coughed into her ungloved hand and then grabbed my pizza boxes to hand to me. I know not every establishment has strong hygiene practices, but the casual way she coughed into her hand and then risked spreading it to me was too much for me. As a cancer survivor I have to pay attention to these things and I don't think the health and safety habits here are strong enough for me to feel safe/comfortable coming back anymore. On top of that, the food was terrible! I don't know what went wrong but it was so very different than the previous times. The jalapenos I had on the nachos the first two visits were so good that I started buying different brands at the store to try and have better jalapenos at home! This time, there were no jalapenos at all for some reason. Each of the different ingredients for the nachos was in its own container so I mixed them when I got home (only a few blocks away so it wasn't time that was the issue.) The cheese was weirdly thick and hard to spread until I mixed it with the sour cream, there was more olives than anything else, and the red sauce I thought was the salsa, was pizza sauce! Who puts pizza sauce on nachos? The taco meat was good, but that's not enough for the price. Then I tried the pizza and was even more disappointed. I didn't finish a single slice, I didn't like it at all. My husband didn't eat his pizza either, so it was a real waste of money. Tldr; I've had the best and the worst here. Take your chances but I won't be back.
