I've been here 5 months so far and my experience has been kinda bad. The first day I moved in my toilet would not flush. The building technician's boyfriend came up to look at it and said it was fine. It still clogs at least once a day even if you are only flushing water so something is clearly wrong with it but I don't want that man back in my room because he makes me feel unsafe. Shortly after that I had my first package stolen. This building has had a package theft problem since even before I came here. The heat is controlled by the building so it's always uncomfortably hot in your room. I'm not sure if they ad that onto your gas bill or not but my gas bill is consistently $80+ and I never use the gas heater in my room and I only moderately use the oven so I still don't know they charge me like that. A friend of mine was in this building over the summer when his ac broke and they didn't fix it for months of him asking. He obviously no longer lives here. The walls are also thin as paper. You can very easily hear your neighbors and they can very easily hear you. A cheap hotel gives you more privacy and calm than these apartments ever will. I have had other various problems like being like general rudeness from the staff. The stabbing that happened on my floor recently which was close enough for me to hear as it happened was also not particularly pleasant. I wouldn't recommend this particular building to anyone. I'm currently looking at options for when my lease ends. The only reason I give it two stars and not one is that I guess it's a good price for the area. Kinda fuxked up though that anyone can provide such inadequate housing and still get away with what they do charge just for where the building is located.

Pros: Iovan and Marta are extremely kind and helpful. They did everything in their power to help and make staying here a decent experience. The cons that I mention in this review are a problem for higher management. Cons: Giant cockroaches that didn't go away! The heat control in this building is messed up. The heat is controlled by the building and you can't adjust it for your individual apartment. That's fine with me, but it was over 80 degrees in my apartment whenever the building heat was on. It was incredibly dry - I woke up multiple times during the night coughing with spots of blood because my throat was dry. The only way I could possibly tolerate this heat was by opening a very loose window; this felt unsafe as I lived on the ground floor, facing a busy parking garage. On multiple occasions it was under 40 degrees outside and I'd leave the window open and still feel hot. The apartment was disgusting when given to me. The bathtub was orange with mold, the oven was so gross that it was unusable. On moving out, even though the apartment was cleaner than the first day it was given to me, I was held responsible for cleaning.
