    Noisy and impossible to sleep due to the single pane windows , room gets hot as furnace at night as there is no way to turnoff the heater.

    If I could give negative stars I would.. TOM the janitor/maintence of the place is a scammer and harrasses women.. he literally yelled at me in front of guests.. stole 150$ in cash from me and treated me horrible. NEVER was late on rent or had any issues they 100% discriminated and then stole covid relief funds from me and didnt give me a 60 day notice.. they wanted to renew until they took toms side.. then they stole funds.. they cant even fix anything steer clear of this complex especially if you are a woman.

    Horrible company, don't rent from them. Wish I would of saw previous review, before I moved in. Extremely thin ceilings, can hear every step your upstairs neighbor makes stomping around and you'll wake up with them walking to the bathroom and blasting their favorite music to start the morning. It beats the military, but not for $1650 a month, before the surprise community utilities fees (not in the written lease BTW) that range anywhere from $100-$200 a month, and a random $50 monthly tax on top of what you thought you agreed to as the rent. Also, prepare for your packages to be stolen and to be blown off by the buildings live in maintenance guy to fix anything. If you move here, you'll be soliciting from a crooked lazy corporate leasing company that's slowly, but surely buying up entire blocks of specific neighborhoods to game the rental market for whatever inflated amounts they set the local prices to (these same unrenovated units were under $1000, only 5 years ago). Meanwhile, the management Staff will either not pickup the phone, ignore any return messages you leave (the buildings manager never once returned a call in the entire year I resided there), or just plain make up any excuses or respond with warped reasoning, so they can shut you down, with minimal effort on their part, but still get their monthly rent check and have a job to do. They know there's always more fish in the sea and would rather rent the same cheaply maintained overpriced units year after year to new tenants, than to actually invest in the building, listen to feedback, try to reasonably work with you to fix issues and value current tenants by accommodating requests and abide by city ordinances vs. laugh in your face about being stuck in the loophole laden rental lease you signed. I've since moved out months ago to a nearby building that when compared to this place, is like night and day and will never look back........ Hope you don't make the same mistake I made in renting from PPM.

This property is in a vibrant and inviting section of Lakeview which is centrally located near grocery stores, coffee shops, restaurants, bars and entertainment venues. Lake Michigan and Wrigley Field are both a short walk from the building. 536 W. Addison has covered parking, an in-building laundry room, a package receiving room, bike storage, 24-hour emergency maintenance, multiple cable providers and an on-site building maintenance engineer.
