Interesting selection and I don't mind being told to silence my phone, but won't be coming back unless it goes under new management. Based on the cable news the owner is watching every time I'm in there, his general vibe, and evidence from other reviews that he's racist, it's not worth giving him my money.

If you know what this place is and take it at face value, its one of the best used bookstores in the city. People dont have to be nice to you just because youre a customer. So what if the guy is rude? Take off your backpack, browse an incredible selection, and dont take pictures. Its pretty simple. This bookstore is a relic of an old era that doesnt exist anymore. Savor it like you savor the smell of old books.
