Andre remodeled my bathroom back in Dec 2020/Jan 2021. I took down my original review a year ago, and have delayed re-writing it because it was such an aggravating and disappointing experience that it's hard to revisit, but I feel like I owe it to other people. The project started 11/3, at which point the tub was tub was unboxed and the bathroom demolished. The next day Andre carried the tub into the bathroom single-handedly, where he then discovered it was mysteriously and massively cracked. Unfortunately it was backlogged and took 6 weeks to replace. Fortunately it was replaced at no-charge by the seller. We were scheduled to restart 12/21, but Andre didn't show up or respond till after noon to tell me he couldn't make it. This was the first in a series of no-call/no-show days over the course of the 4 weeks the job took. He texted Wed 1/6 & Thurs 1/7 that he had a small emergency couldn't make it. On Fri 1/8 I didn't hear from him and he didn't reply to my text. I texted Sunday 1/10 to see if he would come Monday and while he said "yes" he never showed, texting me at 11:34 saying he just woke up. He resumed work Tues/Wed, but the work seemed hastily done and he no-showed AGAIN Thursday. I got really upset at the 3rd no-show in a week (6 total), especially since there were many things yet to be completed in addition to things that needed to be fixed or redone. I sent an email listing what must be completed or corrected by Tuesday 1/19 in order to receive the balance of the payment. I was fortunate to have included a clause on the timeframe for completion in our contract and would encourage anyone to do the same. He came and worked Friday AND Saturday (1/16), finally completing the job. The fact that he worked on the weekend tells me he likely had another gig Monday and there was no telling how long it would have taken to get my job completed.Overall it looks good and the issues I asked him to correct, though they should have been right the first time, were corrected. He mostly fixed the scuffs and dings to walls and doorways, though because he never fully prepped the space by tarping and taping things off, everything in my home and especially the attached closet was covered in a thick layer of dust. There are a couple issues that can't be resolved, though. One is he installed  heated flooring too far back from the vanity to be useful when you're using the sink, so it's essentially completely useless. He installed it at a hefty discount, but I'd rather have it done right. I also don't think the tub is correctly installed because the water puddles mid-tub rather than flowing toward the drain.

Andre came out right away after contacted and presented us with a good price and scope of work for our bathroom project. We provided all seen materials while Mako Construction provided everything else, most importantly the labor. Matt was tasked with turning our shower/tub combo into a walk in shower. Our original floor was very warped and uneven, Matt was able to level it out and create a beautiful floor throughout the bathroom. The master shower looks incredible and Matt did an excellent job laying and positioning each wall tile, choosing certain tiles over others for placement. My wife couldn't be happier. Matt was onsite everyday and even worked a full day on a Saturday. Andre was very responsive and stopped by often to oversee the work and to see to any questions. We are only waiting for the shower glass doors to arrive before our project will be complete. We would highly recommend contacting Mako Construction when looking to speak with detailed remodeling professionals.
