Komie and Associates

Back in 2021, I hit a rough patch of life. The pandemic sidelined me and I became depressed. I started medicating myself with large amounts of alcohol. Unfortunately, after having too much to drink I drove my car through DuPage County into Cook County. Just as I arrived on County Line Road, I was arrested by the Elmhurst Police Department for DUI. While the case was pending, I picked up a second DUI case out in Grundy County where I hit a car. Officers arrested me walking in the corn fields of LaSalle County. I realize now I had serious depression medicated by alcohol abuse. I was in big trouble and was fortunate in obtaining Stephen Komie who really understood my circumstances. He arranged for the treatment I needed and resolved 2 DUIs to my satisfaction without any jail time. I was very lucky! Wow!! I got my money back I was stopped for speeding on I294. The trooper fabricated the odor of marijuana He tore the car apart. After not finding any marijuana I had $25,000 that I earned from construction jobs that I foolishly hid in the armrest. He took my money. I found Mr Komie on Super Lawyers. He took my case through 6 court appearances and won my money back. I never thought it would happen. Once the cops take your dough its never coming back. If the cops grab your bank YOU NEED MR. KOMIE!

Mr Komie is the best of the best. I had to fire two other attornies before finding Mr Komie so I got some experiences that I never would have wanted but there I was. I was referred to Mr Komie by another attorney. Once he was with me in court the difference was immense compared to other attornies. Often I felt I was up against the system or "the man", which I was. Mr Komie took on that system and beat it. We won. One never knows for sure what can happen in court but we won impressively. Mr Komie knows the law, the history, the ins-and-outs. He knows how to communicate and how to influence people. That includes knowing how to influence judges and juries. Yay! I felt great confidence having Mr Komie with me and that feeling of confidence was both deserved by Mr Komie and that confidence proved out with the result of my case. I was very involved with decision making in my case but trust me, one can put his or her trust in Mr Komie. He was always at least 3 steps ahead of me in thinking and strategy. My case was very high level and Mr Komie was a God send for sure. He saved me. Mr Komie's attorney assistant was Mark Belekon. He worked hard (everybody did) and hustled. He was an integral part of the team and was also very trusted and helpful and cared. The entire office staff is fantastic. Mary is at the front desk; she is super on top of things. She always knows what is happening; she always kept me informed and brings things down to a ground level in a super appreciated way. As well as the above, Mary is friendly and fun to talk to. I also want to thank Joy. Joy was kind of the behind the scenes glue. She is very knowledgable and more than helpful. I know I'm missing somebody because the entire staff cares. I could feel that. Arrogant and condescending manner of Mr. Komie may lead you to think he is a confident lawyer. At the time he was reviewing my case he indeed sounded confident provided examples of his international extradition cases won. Spend time to chat about his awesome travels as well, little did we know that he will be travelling while our case was in the works. No show to court, delaying hearings because of his travels, never a follow up and when the case was lost he didnt even have a decency to inform us. I got few second reviews from other lawyers who stated that case was not argued properly. Komie admitted to everything that prosecution filed. Last court hearing Komie had guts to tell the judge that He desired not to write 40 page argument before the 4th of July, so everyone can have a great holiday. Instead he verbally and laimely argued for 2 mintutes. Judge mentioned in his final judgment 3 times that the defence was weak. Not ones in 7 month did he return a call or replied on email. His gate keeper Mary, poor thing, doesnt help much either. Promises promises and a week long wait! Horrible. We will file a complaint for negligence and scam against Komi. I will not recommend Komie and associates to my enemy. Good luck to all!
