As our collaboration progressed, DJ D. Jones continued to exceed our expectations. He provided us with access to a convenient portal where we could seamlessly provide all the necessary details for our event, ensuring a smooth and stress-free planning process. Additionally, DJ D. Jones ensured that we had several touchbase meetings leading up to the wedding, so that everything would align perfectly with our vision. DJ D. Jones' professionalism extended beyond him to his team, including the sound engineer who worked alongside him. Their attention to detail and commitment to excellence were evident throughout the entire process. On the day of the event, DJ D. Jones and his team along with Perry Dontae as a special guest drummer delivered an incredible atmosphere that set the tone for our wedding. From the guest seating period to the cocktail hour and, of course, the reception itself, the music selection and overall ambiance were perfect. Notably, Perry and DJ D. Jones DJ were in perfect sync, creating an electrifying atmosphere together. Perrys impressive freestyling over the records with a contagious enthusiasm helped keep the party alive. While we opted for a non-traditional emcee approach for the evening, DJ D. Jones' experience as a wedding emcee was evident in his flexibility and timeliness when making the few announcements we requested. Additionally, his high-quality equipment, with its great sound and seamless coverage of every corner of our large, high-ceilinged venue, along with the visually striking stage setup, truly elevated the atmosphere of our wedding. Overall, we cannot recommend DJ D. Jones highly enough to anyone in search of a talented and professional DJ for their wedding or event. If you want a DJ that will keep your dance floor going all night long, look no further; Spark Entertainment and DJ D Jones (Duerell) are who youre looking for! Duerell artfully engages the room and keeps the energy fresh, fun, and flowing We actually started out thinking we wanted a band, and when we were disappointed by those options, we were at a loss because we had only experienced cheesy DJs at other weddings we had attended and did not want that vibe. Our wedding planners recommended DJ D Jones, and we could not have made a better choice going with him. The unique thing about Duerell is that he listens to your suggestions and preferences, and then builds off them in the moment, so you have a constantly bumping playlist that is curated to your tastes. He reads the vibe of the room and adjusts accordingly to make sure the energy never drops. He was also so accommodating and helpful to us throughout the planning process. We were very particular about the songs we wanted played during the hora, and he made sure to play only the list we had given him for that portion of the dancing. In one of our planning meetings before the wedding, he heard how much we wanted the dance floor energy to be high, and suggested a short dance set immediately after cocktail hour (then worked with our planners to make sure it fit into the timeline), and that really set the bar for the evening. He also (unbeknownst to me) worked with my parents to play a special audio recording during their speech that they had sent him prior to the wedding. Literally everyone has raved to us about how much FUN they had at our wedding, and that is thanks to Duerell and Spark Entertainment. Dont hesitate to book them, you will not be disappointed!

DJ D Jones and his crew are the best! The hybrid DJ experience with drummer Perry Dontae, guitarist, and saxophonist rocked our wedding Fall 2023 on Michigan Ave in downtown Chicago! They kept the dance floor busy all night! Thank you!

Thank you again to Spark Entertainment Group for your professionalism and kindness. Its obvious you love what you do and you do it effortlessly Quality of Service: 5 Responsiveness: 5 Professionalism: 5 Value: 5 Flexibility: 5 First of all, Duerell is so incredibly professional and thoughtful in each exchange we had. Emails, texts, DMs, Zooms, etc. I really cannot say it enough. The day of he worked with what space he had in the very short amount of time he and his musician colleagues had to set up. He listened to my tastes and kept his audience in mind. I had innumerable guests come to me and ask who this DJ is and that it was the best playlist they had heard at a wedding or any event. And these were some guests who loved to dance! I reiterated that and again he listened, actually heard me and followed through. There was a time issue because of tight turn over of the room so he had to cut some of the dance sets during dinner. a couple of speeches were added. He just rolled with it. There was some friction between our vendors and he was again so professional which set the example for everyone else. More than anything he is the nicest, most humble guy. 20/10 stars. I hope to never have another wedding, but any future parties there is no one else I trust to emcee and DJ other than my friends at Spark Entertainment. DUERELL IS THE BEST! He turned our wedding into the nightclub of my dreams- our friends and family are still talking about! He went above and beyond to make our day truly special, I had a very specific vision of the type of music I wanted throughout the night and he went above and beyond to make suggestions and made the night perfect. He helped us navigate our vision, he even gave us a form to fill out that asked us questions about my husbands and my music preferences. He gave us ideas and suggestions to get the party started that got every single person on the dance floor with the first song. The entire flow of the night was perfect, starting with an amazing entrance and mixed our walk out song perfectly into our first dance song. Spark gives you access to a portal to add songs to was super easy to navigate, and even connected to my Spotify so made it so easy to create an outline for the night. We had ages from 95 to 16 and every single person had a song they could dance to and enjoy. Most of my guests said they didnt sit down once. I spoke to many different vendors before I decided on Spark entertainment, we clicked after the first call and I knew without any doubt I had to have them for our wedding. I wanted a live music element for the reception, and saxophone was the PERFECT way to take our party up to the next level. We had Jimmy come crash our party and play along with music the and my family is still talking about how incredible he was and how seamlessly he integrated with every song. I cant say enough about Spark, I will cherish my night forever! Thank you DJ D Jones and team!
