HUB International

I have had AAHA affinity corporate general liability, umbrella, and workers' compensation policies with the Hartford via HUB for about 15 years. At the WC renewal, I received a competing solicitation from Erie with a substantially lower premium, so I did HUB/Hartford the courtesy of asking them to consider a revised (lower) rate for my existing policy. I spoke with a gentlemen on the telephone about this specific request, and then nothing. No reply, no call, no email. And, once again, the WC audit by the Hartford was shambolic, so I contacted a new broker and switched everything to Erie. But, in a continued display a abhorrent customer service, though I've been "inactive" since May of this year, I am still disputing my WC audit through several successive auditors. I have zero help from HUB, and Hartford is an incompetent mess. Best wishes to you if you're using HUB as your agent, you're pretty much on your own. It would appear that they literally do not care that the Hartford is trying to charge a customer thousands for coverage exposure bases on their made-up audit numbers instead of easily verified third party payroll reports.

Very good service from them, I was actually calling for a friend who is a client of theirs. The call was quick and responsive, with all my questions answered fast.

They added a second mortgage to our policy when we are debt free. Called them at 4pm on a Friday, was disconnected as soon as they picked up. I called back and sat on hold for 20 min before I hung up. Oh yes, office hours are until 5pm. Now I get to steam about this all weekend. Someone else will get our business!!!
