Got a great buy on two mission-style desks from Mike. They were in wonderful condition. He is indeed personable a nice businessman to deal with. I, too, was amazed at the array of things he has to choose from. I was not in the market for lamps or lighting but he sure had the inventory. He also delivered the things I bought for a reasonable fee. Like the other poster, going down there I wondered because it is not so easy to find and wandering into the uncharted bowels of an old warehouse or factory or whatever it was...was a little daunting but the end result was even greater than I'd hoped for. I would not hesitate to go there again or to do business with Mike again.

Wow. This place is 'interesting' to say the least. The building is not clearly marked, so it took some walking and driving around to even attempt entry. Once we found someone working on a door, we asked if there was a store called "Cosas" and one of the three workers knew it. They pointed inside, toward the basement and said it was there. Though it felt a bit like risking my life, I went down to check it out and found an unfinished basement with more workers and serious tools. Another worker appeared and guided me to a hidden section of this warehouse basement where I found lots of dust and some lamp stands and lots of interesting doodads and knickknacks. I can't imagine this store has always been located here, and hope that there's a better way of finding it, for the sake of anyone looking for a lamp or an interesting piece of furniture to take home. They have a little of everything. It's mostly lamps and lampshades, but they do have chairs, tables, vases, chandeliers, some paintings, and a couple of candle stands and/or stuffed animals. Their inventory changes very frequently, so I recommend visiting this place every couple of weeks if you're looking for an interesting piece or want a funky lamp for your place.

I found this place through a Craig's List ad for lamp shades. I had no idea what I was in store for - holy cow, this place is awesome! We went in looking for two lamp shades and left with that and two completely wonderful chairs for our living room. The owner Mike is friendly and outgoing and very generous with his time and space. He encourages folks to wander around and look at all his stuff. It seems like his main business is reselling / whole selling to other area stores, but thankfully he opens his doors to the public two days out of the week. As of this writing Mike allows public viewings on Fridays and Saturdays during the day, but you should certainly call ahead. (The building is really fantastic too!)So what's there? Shelf upon shelf of amazing table, floor, and overhead lamps. Many of these are completely unique, totally beautiful! A few are even custom creations by Mike himself! In addition you'll find a massive collection of new lamp shades, some very large and unique. Scattered throughout are various bits of tasteful furniture, much of it ideal for apartment sized spaces. Several chairs to pick over and even more end tables, coffee tables, desks, and more! Some of these items are clearly one-off special order pieces. Amazing!Prices run the gambit from down right cheap to justifiably affordable. You can swing by for an inexpensive lamp shade, or come out with an amazing piece of furniture for a few hundred. This place is a hidden gem and the owner is a real straight shooter and warm personality. I'll certainly go back!

A hidden gem! We've bought several funky old refurbished lamps at this place and a couple of very cool lampshades. It is kinda off the beaten path. Venturing into the basement of the old factory/warehouse building is a huge part of the fun. The space is stuffed with a huge variety of table lamps, floor lamps, chandeliers and the occasional piece of furniture.Deco, arts and crafts, mid-century modern and other vintages are represented. New old stuff comes in all the time. The prices are reasonable, and unlike the lamp you got at that garage sale last year, these are all re-wired with safe modern switches, cords and sockets. There is secure indoor bike parking in the cavernous mostly vacant basement outside of Cosa's space.Currently open on Fridays and Saturdays.
