Our Realtor Mark Miles recently helped us sell our single family house in Chicagos Norwood Park neighborhood. After having him represent us twice, as both buyers and sellers, we highly recommend him as a consummate real estate professional.
In addition to being an incredibly pleasant person to deal with, Mark has an in-depth understanding of the Chicago area real estate market and top notch negotiating and communication skills. We know from experience that something unexpected inevitably comes up in a real estate transaction that will test your realtors skills and depth of knowledge, so we are all the more appreciative of having Mark represent our interests through two transactions.
We first found Mark through the Dream Town website twelve years ago when we were living in New Jersey, and just starting to look for a place in Chicago. Our search for a new home was complicated by the fact that we had four dogs and had not lived in the city for over ten years and so had no idea of where to start looking for our next home. Mark first helped us find a rental that accommodated our small pack, which is not an easy thing to do. Then over the course of the next year he was with us every step of the way while we explored more than a dozen Chicago neighborhoods.
Throughout this process, Mark remained a beacon of calm cheerfulness, while he analyzed the current market value and potential future value of each property we considered.
We ultimately purchased a house that Mark found for us in Norwood Park. We know that Marks commitment to constantly staying up to date on market conditions and his excellent negotiating skills resulted in our purchasing the house for a reasonable price.
Eleven years later, we were ready to sell the house and leave the Chicago area at a time when the market was in an extreme state of flux. Marks expertise helped us quickly sell our house for an excellent price under what could have been very stressful circumstances. And, after the initial contract was in place, he immediately took on the role of project manager to keep all parties -- buyer, seller, realtors, lawyers, bankers, inspectors, appraisers, etc. -- informed, resulting in a successful, non-eventful closing.

This is the third time Ive worked with Mark Miles to buy/sell. He helped me sell my condo in Avondale this time around! Ive returned to Mark repeatedly for several reasons. First, hes knowledgeable & professional. I have so many questions each time & he always knows the answer & is easy to reach. Secondly, I dont have a flexible schedule, but Mark makes it easy to meet up at times that works for me. In addition, Mark made this whole process seem seamless & easy.
