There 'new' dr is awful and lowered my lens till i can hardly see. I told her I won't be able out of these....she showed me the door . Sadly they changed the frames the only frame that i liked and fit me..their new (to me) dr is absolutely horrible. She lowered my prescription Till i can barely see..,..she acted indifferent also. Went to get glasses exam with the offer of 2 for 69.99$ deal they had,turns out that only works if you want your glasses with plastic rims and no shaving on the glass to make it thinner. The exam was very quick I felt like I was in a party of musical chairs in the waiting room and they seem with attitude the ones who took my exams .it felt hostile . The receptionist was great but the price of my glasses just for one was 276$ because the more blind you are the more the price goes up, on top of that they wanted to add stuff on the glasses and such for more money.least I have a 1 year warranty of insurance. Elizabeth was very patient, funny, and kind during the pre exam. Which is exactly how I remember her to be 3 years ago when I first came here.

Disappointing experience. I've been to America's Best - a different location - before. It was fine. So when my glasses broke, so I made an appointment with the store in Chicago on Elston. I was greeted nicely at the door and told to have a seat in the waiting area, but that was it. My appointment time came and went. Nothing. Then 30 minutes later with still no acknowledgement and a vastly growing waiting area, I decided to leave. I made a morning appointment because I have commitments in the afternoon. Not having a clue when I might be seen or how long I might have to wait to select glasses, while having afternoon commitments, I left. And frankly, watching the operation for 30 minutes, I lost confidence in the entire situation. If you've got a day to kill so the optometrists can see you at their leisure, this might be the place for you. Otherwise, consider going elsewhere. Disappointing experience.
