On point with food, service and drinks. Highly recommend. Surf and turf was amazing. Fresh food and great customer service. Manager introduced himself and was genuinely considerate about our experience. Will visit again soon.

TL;DR: 4.4/5 for very good food, classy service, and a historic atmosphere. Food: A shared lunch leaving us very pleasantly full included a cup of lobster bisque; a cup of French onion soup; a massive bread loaf with whipped butter; a 6 oz filet mignon, medium well; a side of mashed potatoes; Coke and water; Morton's legendary hot chocolate cake, sitting on swirls of caramel sauce and situated by a large scoop of vanilla ice cream; and black (Lavazza, _infra_) coffee. Nothing was over-flavored and two items were under-so, the French onion soup and that scoop of vanilla ice cream, the latter of which also suffered from a touch of freezer burn. But the bread was tasty, fluffy and fun to tear and dip into soup and steak juice. The filet's doneness was beautiful, just enough dark pink in its center. Mashed potatoes were just mashed potatoes but gobs of them went well atop that fluffy bread. Other than for its accompanying ice cream, Morton's legendary hot chocolate cake was bliss. Black (Lavazza, Lavazza, Lavazza!) coffee was very mild. Service: Ranging from conversational and considerate to sheer class, there's definitely nothing to quip about. Atmosphere: Classier than Petterino's but with darker colors throughout. Sinatra and big band songs played in the background. Lighting was comfy with enough twinkle to keep one entertained. But why oh why use Lavazza-branded coffee cups? They must have been free or discounted for the co-branding, but using them here is so 2011 to 2018. We all grew up and now hate ads; remove these, please! Last, the crowd was casually dressed and polite. And probably didn't care about the co-branding.
