Cheba Hut "Toasted" Subs

I was there tonight, 30 minutes before they closed (when the staff was probably exhausted and just want to go home), and the guy at the counter was so genuinely friendly and nice that I was kinda shocked. Its not something I expect around here. Really excellent sandwich too- the ingredients taste high quality (like actual food and not weird mass-produced lab meat), and they dont skimp- I was stuffed after eating half of my 8. Theyre less expensive than some the bigger chains somehow too- $12+change is really a good deal around here for a sandwich this good. Dont forget to tip your to-go cashier! I hope dude gets a raise!

"Fire" food! "LIT" atmosphere! "DANK" service! Love this place! It's definitely a place I'm coming to every time I'm back in Chicago!

Probably one of the best subs I have had. Able to taste every ingredient is top notch. Recommend the Spicy Club. Garlic Bread is phenomenal. Service is always helpful and genuinely kind. Come here too for the wifi and study. Beats having to wait around for a table at Colectivo around the corner.

They had a good happy hour unfortunately they discontinued. They do have daily socials.
