This was my first time here. Dior store in Gold Coast recommended me SoLo. Brianda fixed my sunglasses in less than 5 min. Extremely impressed by the service. And will be coming back!! I recommend this location:)

I recently moved to Chicago and was a little overwhelmed with the prospect of finding all new care professionals. I definitely needed an update on my glasses prescription so I jumped online to check reviews for eye centers and optometrists near me and SoLo Eye Care came up with great reviews. I decided to just go for it and set an appointment and I am glad I did. Brenda warmly greeted me upon entry into the store and eyewear gallery. I immediately felt welcome and comfortable - the gallery is beautiful, the velvet chairs are comfortable, and the gentle scent of the Jo Malone Myrrh and Tonka reed diffuser is pleasant without being overwhelming. Brenda assisted with the initial part of my eye exam, then introduced me to Dr. Greg who was friendly and professional. The exam was simple, but thorough. I love that everything seemed very state-of-the-art and progressive; easy and comfortable. Dr. Greg showed me the results of my eye scans and explained what it all meant, then took the time to answer my questions and discuss my specific eye concerns and offer initial suggestions for solutions going forward. After the exam portion of my visit, I was ready to look at frames for my new lenses. Brenda had pulled some styles she thought I might like based on our initial chat prior to the exam, which was really nice. She was incredibly patient with me as I selected a pair of frames for my new glasses - so many beautiful and fun styles - I felt like I tried them all on, and she was game for all of it. She even had some styles pulled for me to try on as soon as I was done with the eye exam. I had a great experience here at the Gold Coast location of SoLo Eye Care. I felt well taken care of and in good, professional hands throughout the entire visit. I'm very happy that I decided to just take the leap and visit this eye center!
