Lisa at Oh Baby Mine helped me succeed at breastfeeding my son!
They say breastfeeding is natural but it does not come easy for some of us. I knew I wanted to breastfeed my son but we were having trouble with a good latch and I had all sorts of pains as a result - blisters, cracks, clogged ducts, and eventually mastisis.
We saw 4 different lactation consultants at the hospital during the first 5 weeks postpartum but we still struggled.
Lisa was recommended to me and I am so glad we sought outside help. She came to our house several times to teach us different feeding positions that worked best for us and worked for our furniture! She even showed my husband how to help and what to look for. That made a world of difference. She also fitted me for my breast pump flanges and taught me how to use my Spectra S2 pump.
My son is 5 months old now and were still going strong. Its night and day! Breastfeeding feels effortless in comparison to the early days. No pain! Just love and bonding during nursing!
I would recommend Lisa to anyone who is pregnant for prenatal breastfeeding coaching or to someone already breastfeeding but struggling.
All of the services/visits I had with Lisa were 100% covered by my insurance and/or the Lactation Network. Incredible!
