Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Evansville, IN

I stayed at this hotel over the New Year weekend, but just now am getting around to rating it. Overall, it was a pleasant experience. The room was spacious and comfortable, and the location was central to what I needed. One improvement could be made from my experience. I had a suite with a sofa and chair. I had to move the chair at one point and there were food crumbs and a wrapper underneath, as though housekeeping had not cleaned under the chair. It was not a huge deal, but I would rather sleep on a plank of wood and an iron pillow in a spotless room than on a down bed in a dirty room.

Showed up with confirmation number and was told no rooms available. Had to stay 30min away. Will never stay at a Radisson again

Nice facade but this place is in need of upgrades for the price paid. Rooms: In need of upgrades Noted spider webs, torn curtains, bathroom exhaust did not work, & various other items. This hotel is not worth the price we paid.

My husband and I wanted a room with a jacuzzi for a weekend trip. We found this hotel had jacuzzi suites, but they weren't available the weekend we had planned. We decided to move our trip to another weekend just so we could rent one of these suites. Then, on the morning of our arrival, the hotel called and said the jacuzzi had been broken for weeks and the room was unavailable. Things break, and that can't be helped, but the reason I'm angry is they knew about this before we even booked the room, but they chose to tell us the day of our arrival. They offered to move us to a different room, but I canceled my reservation, and we will be staying at a different hotel. We still won't have a jacuzzi, but there was no way I was giving this hotel my business, nor will I ever stay there in the future.

The front desk attendants didn't show great customer service they barely greet you when you're coming and going. The rooms were clean, just had hair all over the lining thankfully I had my own. Housekeeping should have to wear hair nets because this is a problem wherever we stay and I hate it. Love that they are not pet friendly! I hate smelling animals! Breakfast bar was good very nice clean and comfortable area.
