I brought my car in for what I thought was an unbalanced tire issue because I was feeling some wobbling at higher speeds. I had just had my brakes & rotors changed at home like always. Long story short: I almost demanded a tire rotation which would've set me back over $100. Scott informed me my rotors needed to be sanded down a bit to smooth them out which was about the same price as a tire rotation. I had them smoothed out & was still skeptical about needing my tires rotated & felt maybe they just didn't want to rotate them. Problem solved AND saved me $100 right before Christmas which I very much appreciated! I've been coming here for years & this is what will keep me as a customer!!

My last straw came after being told our vehicle needed $740+ in repairs a while back. I took it to the dealership to get checked after I googled my issues and the codes Raben said it gave them didnt jog. The dealer fixed it for $137 because it simply needed a damn battery. Oh well, just $600+ difference right, no biggie? Geez! Raben may have just been that wrong but many shops including a lot of dealerships pay their mechs commission for up selling. Idk about Raben, but Im saying many shops basically push their mechs into being salesman! How this works is when you pull in to buy "tires" but the mech sells you a set of "shocks" too, he gets commission on the shocks. Not on the tires cause you came in for that part already. Lets say you come in needing a battery, the mech gets an hour (or less) labor for installing it but how about a $700 repair along with the battery? What commission can one make there? Idk, but Im just say'n beware of commission services as it actually does exist in shops & this can really raise your repair cost if you let them pressure you up selling chit you dont even need. One small shop I really liked using told me they never paid mechs commission, but my last trip in as my trucks up on their lift for tires & alignment their mech started to up sell. "Your front-end needs rebuilt sir". I said "Already wore out again' that was fast since it was completely rebuilt 2 months ago by me & a freind thats an ACE mech & shop Forman 20yrs. I said "It needs tires & alignment I came in for, but show me those issues you found". I got dead silence as any so called problems it had vanished I guess?..lol Yrs ago I bought tires at "a different local shop", once home I discovered tires were blems. I confronted them & agreed to get about $100 back, was yrs ago, blems are minor flaws but Google "Blem Tires" to see if your okay with them but how to make sure it's not what a shop sells you at full price because its very common practice for many tire shops. Just warning folks here, but if Raben says your car needs high priced repairs get a 2nd opinion before its fixed here. For yrs Rabens biggest scam has been on A/C work, its just rediculous how they do people! Needless to say I'll never bring our vehicles here again for any reason whatsoever. Never again!! If Im 90 & only ride a big arse tricycle with a basket like my great aunt, I'll push my trike up hill in both directions to another repair center if needed. Yep' Ill just take the heart attack, its that bad here imo. After mentioning going here to an old co-worker who said his father was treated bad here. Said they left his truck key in the "on" position while his dads new tires were installed & burnt the vehicles ignition system up. His dad had to pay for this entire repair because Raben ignored the customer & his dealership saying they left key on & caused it all yet Raben didn't care. Claiming it was just coincidental that it burnt up while the vehicle was up on their lift. (Even though it can't happen if Ignition is actually turned off & shop mechs pulled truck in shop bay up on lift) So if your car needs tires, muffler etc & is driven in here running perfectly but fails to start & pushed out the bay back into their parking lot to be towed off, now you know why.

They took me to work, got my car done, knocked off about 100.00 from the job, and the car runs fine.

They refused to rotate my tires that I bought from them. They said the tread was to worn, however they didn't appear that worn. Tried to sell me tires and brake light bulbs and wanted to flush something. I felt like they were trying to take advantage of me
