I am a handicapped 71 yr old female. I moved from this area 2 years ago but now I am back. This used to be a nice
store with friendly people. However, about a year before I moved I noticed the store does not really care about its handicapped customers. It only has 4 riding carts for a large store. Before I moved I noticed that the carts were never kept charged. I would shop for 15 minutes and the charge would run out. When I asked a store employees to get a charged cart so I could shop they acted like I was bothering them. So I would get my own new cart which would show it is charged but, again, the charge would only last about 15-20 minutes. I actually work and my time is valuable to me. I don't have time to chase carts that are not charged. With only 4 carts in such a large store they never have fully charged carts. That was 2 years ago. Well, I moved back into the neighborhood, went shopping at this store April 8 and it still only has 4 carts. I shopped for 15 minutes and the cart I had ran out of charge. The other 3 carts were charging but none were fully charged. I told a store employee they can put back the food I had in my cart. I explained I cannot shop without using a cart. This store should get at least 3 additional riding carts so their handicapped customers will have charged carts when they need them. I shop other Price Choppers in the area and I never have this problem at other stores. I will not be back.

So glad to see that your Price Chopper at Quivira and 135th carries Oregon Pie Fillings. Hen House does not carry Oregon products, only Best Choice Pie Filling. There is no comparison. Oregon is a much better product.
I am now a Price Chopper customer and I have quit shopping Hen House.

Used to be a reliable store with decent prices. The last several years, it has gone down hill in several categories. Produce is not maintained properly (rotting produce in the bins), Prices are not attractive relative to other grocery stores nearby. The move to self check out is a joke as well. They are going on over a year now with a ridiculous system that locks the wheels of your shopping cart as you exit the store, for no reason. Worst customer experience anyone could design.
