Cool little place. Always busy so you know the food is good. Got a burnt end sandwich. Great food!.

We came from afar to KC to check out the area on our trip. We picked this BBQ spot because of the ratings given by others. We ordered delivery for dinner and we weren't really impressed. As a BBQ enthusiast who loves to make my own, I was disappointed in the ribs dinner meal that I got. My sides were potato salad (which was actually decent) and a tossed house salad (I ordered 1000 island and got ranch, otherwise you can't mess up a salad).... my ribs.... we're dry and needed to be slathered with the BBQ sauce that was provided. The skin on the back of the ribs was still attached, and the meat was on the dry side. The spices for the rub was pretty good though. My husband got the Ol' Ray (3 meat platter) and we were surprised that there was no rolls or bread for the sloppy Joe, brisket, or pulled pork... it's only meat. The baked beans were a hit, not spicy for those who have a heat allergy. The corn fritters were my favorite thing that we ordered... they taste between sweet corn and hush puppies. I can't really judge the atmosphere or service as we haven't gone in person.
