        We lost power for 4 days and stayed here. Desk staff, excellent. Restaurant staff, excellent. Food is very good for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. When we lose power again (it's Maine, we will:) we will definitely go back there or if we want to just get away for a weekend (no kids, no phone calls etc.) we will also look forward to returning there too. Also, we came with my service dog and our pet Mini Dachshund, and the staff could not have been more accommodating. They were so welcoming that I just can't say enough about how our family, stressed and worried about damage to our home from the storm, had a chance to decompress and feel as if everything was going to be OK. Thank you.

        Clean beautifully refurbished hotel. Came here with my parents when I was very young and loved it then. Great location in town, close to museum and hockey rink for game which I was going to that evening. Only issue was with parking so far to walk to hotel, and parking not free, which was unbelievable to me

        Place is pretty busy, the staff seems very attentive and diligent and place is very clean and kept up. Its right in the center of Portland and it a good area if you want to see the city. Ill be staying there soon and will do longer, detailed review at that time.
