Both knees replaced fall of 2019. Still happy! I was lucky to have had Steve Rodrigue and his team perform these procedures, two weeks apart, at Mercy Fore River in Portland.

Excellent installer of new knees but DOnT count on later support. I had both knees replaced by him 5 years ago. Early December I had small incident in which I heard a loud crunch in my knee and was in great pain and could not walk. My primary care thought it best to get replacement checked for damage. Rodrigues office best effort was 6 weeks! No sense of urgency. Primary care arranged x-ray and alternate ortho. Torn LCL. This is second time since getting the knees that his office has not provided ready follow up when something has gone wrong. Very disappointing.

I had total hip replacement 10/22 and Dr Rodrigue was absolutely incredible! Hip recovery was great and am at 100% now! He also did my husbands total knee replacement and same experience! He is FANTASTIC! Great staff too especially Melissa, his scheduler!

I just had a knee replacement on my left knee Dec. 7th. Two weeks later I'm walking without a cane and barely had any pain after surgery. My extension is spot on and I'm almost there with bending it back. It's amazing. The nurses at the hospital said they can always tell who Dr Rodrigue's patients are because they do so well. He did my right knee 6 yrs ago and I wouldn't trust anyone but him this time. He's outstanding.

Dr. Rodrigue replaced my right knee 7 weeks ago and I am very pleased with my mobility and the flexion I now have. My pain was very well managed after surgery and during my recovery. I have minimal residual swelling and scar. Dr. Rodrigue has a wonderful bedside manner and takes time to answer all questions. I am so pleased I found this excellent orthopedic surgeon and his group.
