Oh WOW I just had one of the best interactions with Lydia at the Zen . I was so impressed with the fact of how attentive Lydia was to my concerns even though I am not currently a resident. That is a rare quality these days. The apartments are beautiful and clean with wonderful amenities. I'm excited about moving forward in the moving process. C. Palmer

BEWARE BEFORE RENTING!!
I'm a senior citizen and I live on a budget.... I was going to rent an apartment at your Zen 55+ location in Baltimore, however I decided not to. I've been requesting my $600 deposit to be returned to me for over 3months all I keep getting is the run around & the excuses. No one returns calls or emails.I've notified every resident there of your practices and I've contacted the MD Dept of Aging. I've also emailed Mayor Brandon Scott. Ive also contacted my attorney Natasha Rosbach. Avenue 5 executives how do you sleep at night?

Lydia Nurse is a wonderful addition to the Zen Apartment. Her door is always open and whatever your issue might be , its addressed in a reasonable manner. The new coffee machine is a great addition and I cant wait to see what else is coming.

The leasing manager, Lydia Nurse, is a excellent. She is so eager to make people who lives here feel good. The maintenance is very eager to service you and to improve the living conditions. The reading room and the game room are gorgeous.

I have now lived at Zen for almost two years actually being the very first resident. The fixtures and the design are both too notch. Maintenance and management has always been wonderful. I have not yet had the opportunity of meeting the new manager but from all indications she is doing a very good job. The most important feature of this building is the residents. Without exception fellow residents are friendly, outgoing and helpful.
The only negative are the add on fees. If you are looking to rent here make sure you have an accurate listing if additional fees which include water and sewer, trash collection and an additional administrative fee on top of the water bill.
