The worst home buying experience I have ever seen, experienced or heard of. I will save most of the intricate details, but everything Logan Jayme mentioned in the review below is 100% accurate and is still applicable today even though that was written a year ago. The whole purpose of me purchasing this home was to take advantage of the low interest rates in 2020. That home we bought in 2020 and was originally supposed to move in by the end of that year (and then Q1 2021, and then Q3 2021, etc.) is still not complete. Dan Ryan made a lot of assumptions in the building process that led to delay after delay. As Logan mentioned in their review, they also don't own the land. Now apparently the developer ran out of money and are trying to work with them on a solution. This message was delivered in September and it is now December with little to no communication as to where these conversations are going. Currently there are multiple homes standing with no bridges or roads to access them. The communication overall has been abysmal and there has been multiple times we had to reach out to pull any additional information we can out of them. At this point I'm not even sure who to blame, as the sales representatives can only deliver the information they receive, so either they aren't receiving much neither or they are failing at communicating. As it stand today, there is no end in sight as to when these homes will be habitable. We have missed out on numerous other opportunities to purchase in 2020 to take advantage of the home prices and interest rates, but went with Dan Ryan thinking it would be a good, or at the very least, a serviceable experience. It has been far from that. You would think they would go out of their way to over communicate given the massive inconvenience this has caused a lot of people, but they have not done that neither. If I could give 0 stars I would. Service: Home building

No communication from the sales rep, I don't have any idea what's going on with my house. People have been waiting over 1 year for delivery and come to find out, Dan Ryan doesn't own the land and aren't sure when they'll own it to start builing on it. They said they MIGHT own it from the developer by mid-September, but who knows. The shadiness of the sales team Valerie, Chris and DRB as a whole is awful! How on earth did you all sell us lot in 2020 and promise delivery in 2020 when u still don't own the land 14+ months later. There's no way the sales team didn't know this mess with Prince George's County and the developer were going on. There are TONS of people left hanging waiting over a year for their homes and still don't know what's going on. I DO NOT RECOMMEND DRB TO ANYONE!!! And anyone building a new jome, make sure your builder actually owns the property before signing the contract.
