Rooms: Large and comfortable. The sliding bathroom doors are unique but don't offer 100% privacy. Nearby activities: Aquarium, many restaurants, Whole Foods a block away. Marijuana dispensary within walking distance (maybe 10 minutes). Safety: Room key cards are required to use the elevators. The surrounding area seems safe and friendly. Standard safety locks on room doors. Walkability: Many great restaurants and shops. Parking garages, Whole Foods. Waterfront and National Aquarium. Little Italy. Food & drinks: Plenty of Italian, American, Mexican, Asian, and seafood restaurants. Restaurant and bar on premises. Breakfast included with stay. Awesome bakery across the street called Kneads.

Stayed in 3/2024 Aaron the check-in staff was professional, friendly and helpful. I called hotel back about a pending charge and spoke with Aaron again. He was polite and helpful. There is a pool, but I did not use it. I saw a lot of families getting on/off the floor for the pool and they all looked happy. Rooms: The room was clean and spacious. The bed was comfortable. Safety: I felt safe walking back from dinner with family members. Its well lit area at night. Not many pedestrians at night or in the day time. It was pretty quiet, but I stayed there on a weeknight, so maybe more people walking around on the weekends. Walkability: Lots of restaurants within walking distance. There is also a CVS within 2 min walking distance. Close to public transportation. There is also a Whole Foods you can see from the hotel entrance, 1 min walk away. Food & drinks: Full breakfast bar, lots of items to choose from.

Requested early check in and was confirmed. Arrived at 1300 and my room was not ready. Waited in lobby until 1600(normal checking time) when it was ready. Walked into my room and there were flower petals in a corner. When to take a shower and the house keeping walked into my room why I was not clothed. Hot water was non existent. I requested and extra towel and blanket( multiple occasions) had to walk down there around midnight to retrieve one and wait in the front desk in order to receive one. Kids were running around in the gym area at any give time. Someonewas running barefooted on the treadmill. Cleanlinessof the breakfast area was far from exceptional. It was like eating from yesterday's mess. Overall the hotel is beautiful but it is overan by bad management. One of the reasons we choose this hotel was because of the pool. Dead skin cells laying on top and the filthy state of the pool made me cancel l the following reservation at the hyatt in Orlanda. Highly do not recommend

This has to be the worst experience anyone could possibly have at a hotel. Allow me to explain why. I booked at night at this hotel via the Hyatt corporate booking phone number. I booked a double queen room with a pull out bed as we are a family of five. I paid for the room over the phone and was told everything would be ready when we arrive. When we arrived the man at the front desk responded that they were at max occupancy and there were no rooms for us. I informed the gentleman that I had a confirmation number which was in his system to which he replied I dont know how you were able to book a room but I see you did. Long story short after an hour and a half of back and forth mind you its now 1:30 am and I have three sick and tired children he informs me the only room he has is a king room. We had no choice but to take it and my son SLEPT ON THE FLOOR as we were too tired to go anywhere else plus every other hotel in Baltimore was booked. I would have just had us all sleep in the car had Id known this was going to happen. Fair warning to anyone who reads this. STAY SOMEWHERE ELSE!!! Do not book with Hyatt do not come to this hotel. Go anywhere else. Best of luck to you if youre in desperate need of a room and have booked at stay at this hotel.
