If you havent been here you really need to try this place-its a great find! Tried this place for the first time and wondered why I didnt try this sooner! Never had Laos food: simply WOW! Delicious ethnic food with fresh ingredients. A little pricey but the quality was worth it. Parking a little difficult. Would give 5 stars but ordering online needs improvement to provide specifics not mentioned on website plus tried to order over the phone but no one would pick up. Kapoon was really good with just the right amount of spice and very fresh, street-fried bananas with Thai ice cream is to die for! Butterfly pea tea was unique and also delicious and refreshing to counteract the spice (not too hot). Calamari was good but a tad bit salty but sauce was uniquely delicious as well as lotus cookies. Cannot wait to try other items on the menu! Lots to chose from. Will definitely come back again. Was so impressed by this place I told my coworkers about it. My new addiction!

Absolutely delicious! Super polite & efficient service. Mother's Day lunch and it was lovely. The "Three Flavored Fish" was scrumptious! It was tangy and sweet and sour and had a tiny bit of heat. Desserts and cocktails were also amazing."Perfume of Faeries", the pretty purple cocktail was the best!

About
Charming Elephant

Charming Elephant is the first Lao restaurant in Baltimore! It all starts with our parents who became refuge of the Secret War in Laos and they were forced to adapt into many different cultures, but they wanted to bring the Lao culture no matter where they went. We hope to bring Lao food to the streets of Baltimore, to embody Lao culture through our authentic cuisine, and to bring the warmth of a sticky rice basket!
