I've lived in this Ann Arbor apartment for a couple of years now, and it's been great. The maintenance team is quick to respond to emergencies like fridge or electrical issues, usually showing up within a few hours. The property manager is approachable and helpful, always there when needed. The corner units with big windows make the place feel spacious and bright. The surrounding area is safe and convenient, with grocery stores, restaurants, and shops nearby. Overall, it's a comfortable, convenient place to live with a sense of community given the separated/short buildings with a central gym/pool. We were also able to bring friends recently for a gathering at the clubhouse and it was the perfect space! Highly recommended if you're looking for a solid apartment in Ann Arbor.

We are absolutely blown away by the efficiency and kindness of Uptown! We first scheduled a virtual tour with Tyler who answered all of our questions and sold us on the Chicago-style apartment right away. After hitting dead ends on multiple apartment complexes, nothing beat the luxury finishes, location and immediate customer service that Uptown offers. Then, we were in constant contact with Tamara during the signing process who secured us the best deal and listened to our wants/needs. The process was seamless and convenient, something we have never experienced from other rentals. We can tell the staff is very invested in making this living experience amazing!

Tuesday March 5th 2024 I was racially profile by maintance man bob drives a blue van(what he said his name was) said I was stealing packages out of one of the building. I was sitting at the bottom of the steps waiting to open up one of the restaurants I work at (DWC) which I presented my shirt to verify. I began to call me a lair and said I needed to leave the entire property or he was calling the police. I refused to leave the property since I work on the opposite of the wall and waited in front of our store. He called the property supervisor Steve drives a blue pick up truck and approached me again threatening/ harrassing me to leave the property again until police showed. I informed police and showed police I worked on property and have work uniform on to show. Police agreed I was profile and harassed and decided not to take steps further. But if these is how black men are going to be treated please be aware when looking at this location.
